its sunday, and the last day of NaBloPoMo... and although I have kept it up for the month, I think sometimes I posted less than stellar posts. I have so much to learn. YH does it the best I think, she always has these good posts. she does write for a living after all...
I am on the last leg of the one row noro scarf #3. I am trying to finish it, so that i can start on the next scarf. I want to try the stripped scarf, i don't know if i want to do it in k1p1 (a la brooklyntweed)or try it in just garter (a la accessories bible)... maybe i'll start with the garter cuz i know i hate k1p1, and if i don't like that look then, i'll frog and do k1p1.
It has been hard keeping up posting everyday... and with posting everyday, there are bound to be some days that have lame posts.
Traveling with knitting things within China was very very troublesom. I brought my small scissors, and it was found everytime I went thru the detectors... and on the return back, they almost made me check it in... they had told me that i couldn't take it out on flights. they also were concerned about my umbrella, and this metal easel thing i was carrying. Plus my small needles... it was just very very troublesom. I think it might have been because I didn't check things in, so it was all very thorough, but still... i think the whole no liquids thing sucks because sometimes you don't have time to stop after security check to get a drink...and they don't serve drinks right away when you board. I hate traveling within China.
