Welcome to The Notorious Sock Knitters World Domination Tour 2009

I was debating whether or not I wanted to renew my STR membership for 2009, since a. i have not knit one single sock from the club this year, and b. i'm having it delivered internationally so it's $280 usd, and in this rate of falling or is it rising, which ever it means that i have to pay more NTD to USD, spending this one lump sum is frankly...scary.

But looking at the line up these possible designers, I caved, plus i love the little emergency yarn (ok so i know it's not justification for paying $280 for emergency yarn, but it's just so darn cute); and isn't 2009 the year I'm going to knit more socks??

I know what you're thinking... I thought you were destashing sock yarn... what about no more sock yarn until you knit them? well... i put a loop hole, I'm just renewing membership... (i love me loop holes)

If it's proof that I'm knitting more socks... here's an update of the socks for the HHSKAL.
I've turned the heel, picked up the gusset and now am working diligently on the decreases towards the foot... it's all going quite well. I definitely will be at the foot by the end of this week, and lets put the deadline for sock finishing by Dec 24!!
