quality time

oh man... it just goes to show how not ok I was yesterday. I blogged my knitting content on the wrong blog. I'll re-submit it here at a later day, just so it's all kept in order, but yeah... that's how not ok I was.

today while talking to dad, I made progress on my HHSKAL (Hufflepuff Holiday Sock KAL)... I am up to 3.5" on the leg!!! Yay, before you know it, i shall be at the heel and picking it up and such! Exciting times ahead I tell you.

I also had to remind my dad that he could wear the socks I made him now, it's cold enough, and it will keep his feet warm.

I brought out my knitting because I felt like I should sit in the living room with my dad, spend quality time just by being in the same room and all, so instead of sitting there staring into thin air, I pulled out my sock.

My dad was doing sudoku, inter-changing with shuffling and dealing cards (he was playing a sort of poker game variation), and I was knitting. We chatted, exchanged information... Nice quality time...
