i have come to the sad conclusion that a. i can't find my 4th ball of cascade 220 for the remaining of the clapotis, b. i might be already on the 4th ball of cascade 220 for the clapotis and that is why i can not find it, and c. because of not realising the previous b statement, i have left the decreasing too late and now have to come to the end of the ball and need to finish off the scarf with a completely different color.
Although it will be ok in the long run because I get to use up the left overs from other projects to finish this one, it is not ok right this moment because I can't believe I don't have enough yarn for this. this is really what i get for not paying attention and not finishing up a WIP in time... the last time I worked on this was months and months ago...
just tell me that it will be ok.
on a more cheery note, I have finished knitting the body of the booga bag and handfelted it last night. I found a box perfect for the size of the bottom and is drying it right now. I'm still undecided about the handle. It seems most people went with the icord option, but I really don't want to be making the icord. I'll dig out the handle and see.
Waiting for the bag to dry is like waiting for the water to boil... it seems like its never going to happen... I set it up to dry from last night, and today its like when the smaller bubbles are starting to pop up along the sides, but not really setting the water over the edge to boil. the bottom parts of the bag is dry, but the top part isn't yet...
