advent calendar

Browsing thru my google reader today, a friend to knit with had a posting about mitten and hats advent calendar ( i don't really get the point of it... the advent calendar that is not mittens and hats, must be a christian religion thing, but this is super cute and I can still want to knit it even if I don't get the point of it!).

She posted a link to where I can buy the pattern... $5.00. After looking at the other link on her blog that was selling something similiar @ $78... the $5 bucks for the pattern is starting to look better. I know I'm not factoring my own time in making this, and the yarn required, but if I've already spent the money, it's free...so I quickly paypal and queued it in Ravelry.

I think I'll make one today...
