i can't stay away from scarves!

I finished the clapotis, but it is way too long, should have decreased earlier and not had to have to bring out and random color to finish off the project. It's really warm, and I love wrapping the thing around my neck while at home, but I don't know how functional this piece is outside in the elements.

Started a new scarf last night.

I love the subtle and muted tones of the gray. At the TaiChung YS, I went in looking for Noro, and the store clerk directed me towards this, Richmore Bacara Epoche. It's supposedly dyed with organic coloring... whatever that means. ::roll eyes:: It's super soft, and the cables (or crosses) aren't that hard. The pattern is a Harmony stitch called 3 rib twisted stitch or something, but instead of doing the twist every round, i am adding a full knit purl row in between. The cross might be the same as the fetching cables.

I'm thinking of changing the pattern again, and sorta make it into a sampler scarf... but I know if I did that then I would most likely rip it out and lose interest... so i should just stick to this 3 rib twist.
