this time around...

ok attempt 2 at the ginny weasley hat... i ran out of the gold, so i used the cranberry color i had left over from the scarf to make it. It looks sorta weird. Maybe not so weird after I put in the ribbons and extra yarn. This time, the hat is not a yarmika... it actually fits on my head.


i like how the hat is wider at the bottom... nice job goldfishgirl!!

did more rows on my scrap blanket... it's slow going. I wasn't going to crochet for awhile due to my right wrist is feeling odd.

i was going to practice knitting the new house scarf for my new hogwarts swap in the round... but i think with the hat... it went ok... the scarf should be easier cuz i don't have to decrease or anything at all. practice practice.

i've also ordered a whole bunch of yarn, from Joann's, from pick up sticks, and from elann. joann's for the scarf, pickupsticks for these cool socks on knitty, and elann for the cardigan... future projects.

i just hope the yarn gets here on time. i'm going to have to email my sister.
