ok, have cranked out 3 pairs of crochet maryjanes. I redid the really blue one because i forgot what size hook i used, so I just used another one and redid the first second pair. all in all, the 3 crochet pairs took about one day, BUT it's the weaving in the ends that gets me the whole time.
The Orange pair that i made i didn't know how to attach the strap, so then, all of a sudden, I was like, i'd love to have buttons as a holder, BUT since i don't have buttons, i have a whole bunch of pins, why don't I use those. I randomly picked two of the same ones and used them as closers. I'm brilliant!! hehe.
the first pair is pink & green... looks like a watermelon when photographed. the two pairs looks different, but unique.
I took pictures, but have put the cord away, so i'll edit for pictures when i get to china tomorrow.
if i wake up early, maybe i'll mail it out, if not i'll ask my mother to mail it out on monday.
I packed up most of my yarn, and some of my patterns, and books. i brought only the ones that i like or would want to make for the next two months.
i am all about done with all the swapping, except the vintage travel one... perhaps i should try to finish it today, so i'm all done... this way i don't have to worry about mailing out things in china.
i miss the US and my freedom. is that a weird thing to say in my yarn blog as opposed to my own life blog?
