i'm going on vacation!!

i am eight into the ten that i am making for the halloween bracelet that i'm promo-ing to craft promo. two more baby!

went to the bead store again. said I was going to only purchase $50 or less, but I ended up spending $60 ish...it was the last bags of charm that put me over the top...but i just had to get them!! I got these golfing related charms...golf bag, golf carts, & etc. It's uber cute. I'm going to make one for my mother...do you think she would like it?

taking a break..making the same thing over and over again bores me...hm...

the sweatshop is open again

okay, so it's not really a sweatshop in those terms, but the repeative motions sure makes it seem like a sweatshop.

anyways, got the button maker back from e, and now the button making has started. I have decided to make promo pieces out of buttons that feature some of my work to send to prettycheap.etsy.com. i don't know if they are what she's looking for...but i will email her and let her know.

i love the smell of sweatshop late at time!

went to the store & picked up halloween items to make the bracelets for craft promo's new event. I am on the third bracelet, but am taking a break cuz my hand hurts a bit.

the first one i made was just whatever, it's a bit weird. But then I adjusted the other ones a bit more, and then personalised them for me, and i realised that i really like how i personalised it, and so that's what i'm making for the event.

promo things

so I'm thinking of purchasing these earring cards

but on the other hand, i still have a lot of them for when i bought
those little cards...the only thing is that these will be custom
made, and I don't have to handwrite my website on it...it will
already be on it.

oh the dilemma. but then i feel llike $0.127 cents per earring card
is a bit expensive when i want more of them...but she will have
punched the holes...ergh. and it will be customized. it's just
another fee i have to add to the cost of the earrings. i already
have to add like an extra dollar just to cover all the fees, etsy
listing fee, paypal fee, and etc.

i really should stop complaining...

on a break

went to a bead store in DC, trying to find inspirations of items. Perhaps it's because i have not my supplies with me, or what, but i wasn't inspired at all. the only thing I found worth buying was these cross golf club charms that i thought would be cute for my mother and her golfing friends.

there was tons of pretty beads no doubt, but i just didn't know what to do with them...perhaps I should go back, and buy the blue ones of the green beads that i already have...

inspiration hit me!

tried something new today

sent my sister off on this class today. Was suppose to be mine, but then I was up way too late last night, i was not in any mood to be awake at 1pm. So she went instead, and came back with the instructions for this thing...you think the colorful part would be hard, but it wasn't actually. It was easy considering all the colorful picture the instructions provided. The hard part was the actual ring part...probably due to the fact that it's all one color plus the instructions didn't explain much, but after trying hard at it for awhile I gave up.

Took a break from it, and when my sister informed me again, about the threes and fours and how one of them was reused...it all made sense in my head. and it was a breeze to get through.

now i just gotta find more materials. and make more of these things!!

weather fair, mood great!

visited a new bead store today, it was ginormous. BUT i only ended up buying a couple of little things, charms specifically. Made myself this pretty heart charm bracelet.



I also made a pair of blue dice earrings, ready for vegas baby! Not like I'm going right now, but if I was, I'd be ready!! More to tackle earrings...i got these shoe charms that i'm going to turn into earrings. can you tell i like earrings??

oh, I also went to the art store today...picked up the water color pencils that i needed to start my new watercolor thingy.

today was a good day.

here are the pretty girl inspired necklace and bracelet...somehow when i try them on, they aren't as cool...maybe it's just how i wear them??

i am also taking a class on the 6th this month, it's to learn how to make a ring. I feel as if I've hit a plateu in my jewelry making...hence the class. Perhaps I shall be inspired again.

I also can't seem to find the same sorta beads here in california as I did in taiwan, perhaps that's why...i perhaps need to change my products...hm...shall look more into that.

maybe i'll visit another bead store today!!
